My parents are very much into anything community-related and events that bring families together. It’s consistent with what we try to do here at McDonald’s for our customers. We want to do that, we want to support organizations and causes that do that,” he said.

MMAC steering committee co-chair Carline Sablan said they are appreciative of the McDonald’s donation because the money goes directly back to support services needed by cancer patients.

“Each of our sponsors supports the Marianas March Against Cancer in different ways, whether it be through a monetary donation to the event, in-kind support or providing services to us—each helping to make the event a success. The MMAC Steering Committee thanks McDonald’s of Saipan for signing on again this year as a title sponsor with a generous $3,000 donation. We are extremely appreciative of McDonald’s support in raising much needed funds for vital support services for cancer patients and their families, cancer awareness and prevention programs and much more,” she said.

On behalf of the committee, Sablan invites the community to come out and support the cause this weekend.

“Join us on Friday, May 3, to Saturday, May 4, at the Commonwealth Ports Authority Airport Field from 6pm to 6am. Let’s join together to celebrate our survivors, appreciate caregivers, remember loved ones lost to the disease and fight back cancer,” she said.

McDonald’s CNMI and Guam has donated $3,000 to Marianas March Against Cancer, the signature fundraiser…

[4
322
post-298581","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-local-news","tag-mmac
["GET
