(HANMI)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Radio station KCNM-KZMI has joined the rank of sponsors for the 18th Annual HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament that\u2019s happening on May 11, 2019, at Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort\u2019s west course, donating $600 in airtime that has helped sell out the event.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThanks to our faithful players and sponsors such as KCNM-KZMI, I\u2019m pleased to report we have full house already signed up for this year\u2019s HANMI Charity Classic Golf Tournament,\u201d said tournament chair Steve Balakrishna. \u201cWe have a full 144 registrants and a number more [on] the waiting list. Really, the support has been extraordinary, and we are grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tournament follows a black-jack double Peoria format. Over $100,000 in cash, cars, hotel night stays, and other prizes await the winners. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cKZMI-FM 103.9 has been known as the CNMI\u2019s first &amp; favorite radio station for more than 30 years,\u201d said station general manager Bob Webb. <\/p>\n<p>He describes KZMI as a \u201cHot Adult Contemporary\u201d formatted station that crosses over all traditional demographics and ethnic groups. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cKZMI is a mix of today\u2019s hottest music with a scattering of yesterday\u2019s hits,\u201d said Webb. \u201cKZMI is dynamic and listener-friendly and showcases all the excitement of a hit music format while still addressing the needs a family-based audience. KZMI keeps its listeners informed with USA Radio News, an award-winning 5-minute news broadcast throughout the day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For an additional $30, players may also compete for optional play prizes, including Accurate Drive on Line (#9), Accurate Drive Circle (#5), Aggressive Drive (#12), Longest Drive (#18), and Nearest to the Pin (#3, #7, #13, #17).  <\/p>\n<p>Additional hole-in-one prizes include $20,000 from Century Tours, $20,000 from LT Tours, a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross from Triple J Motors, $5,000 from Pacifica Insurance, and a first-class, roundtrip airline ticket from Saipan to Shanghai or Guangzhou from Saipan Travel Inc., and $2,500 from Traders Insurance.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will start at 7am.
