{"id":298776,"date":"2019-05-03T06:06:31","date_gmt":"2019-05-02T20:06:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=298776"},"modified":"2019-05-03T06:06:31","modified_gmt":"2019-05-02T20:06:31","slug":"mcdonalds-acknowledges-local-educators","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/mcdonalds-acknowledges-local-educators\/","title":{"rendered":"McDonald\u2019s acknowledges local educators"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>McDonald\u2019s CNMI and Guam has, for the first time, joined the celebration of Teachers Appreciation Week by offering a free cup of coffee to all educators to start their day. <\/p>\n<p>The local franchisee of the fast-food restaurant wants to let local educators know that their hard work does not go unnoticed and would like to give back to them through coffee. <\/p>\n<p>According to Mable Glenn, McDonald\u2019s CNMI executive assistant to the president, they will offer free coffee to all educators for a week\u2014the first time the company will be doing this. \u201cWe just want to thank our educators\u2026for what they do for our students. Why not through a cup of coffee to help start their day?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Glenn said that all who work in the line of educating\u2014teachers, principals, counselors, etc.\u2014are eligible for a free cup of coffee. <\/p>\n<p>The only requirement is a valid school ID to prove you are an educator and you can visit any McDonald\u2019s branch drive-thru or in stores. <\/p>\n<p>The promotion isn\u2019t available through the McDonald\u2019s app. <\/p>\n<p>The cup of coffee is free, no other purchases required, and is available from 5:30am to 10am from May 6 to May 10. <\/p>\n<p>National Teachers Week is celebrated in the entire United States.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s Saipan and Guam hopes to implement this promotion every year.
