The four are Jemalynn Iguel, Aria Keilbach, Rayanna Fitial, and Mikayla Fitipol.<\/p>\n<p>According to Keilbach, the experience helped her learn about birds in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was an amazing opportunity to experience and to just learn about the birds of our islands and the conservation that deals with protecting them,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The four were taught how to handle birds, catch them, and identify them. They also learned the food preferences of specific birds.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 28 biologists mentored the four students during four consecutive weekends in April and May. The biologists hailed from all over the U.S. in aquariums and zoos.
