{"id":299565,"date":"2019-05-06T06:00:55","date_gmt":"2019-05-05T20:00:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=299565"},"modified":"2019-05-06T06:00:55","modified_gmt":"2019-05-05T20:00:55","slug":"upcoming-police-checkpoints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/upcoming-police-checkpoints\/","title":{"rendered":"Upcoming police checkpoints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Department of Public Safety will be conducting a total of for seatbelt and child restraint checkpoints on Wednesday, May 22, and Friday, May 24.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first checkpoint will be on Chalan Pale Arnold, Garapan to Chalan Pale Arnold, Chalan Lau Lau, from 8am to 10am.<\/p>\n<p>The second checkpoint will be on Beach Road, Garapan to Beach Road, San Jose, from 3pm to 6pm.<\/p>\n<p><strong>FRIDAY, MAY 24, 2019<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The first checkpoint will be on Beach Road, Garapan to Beach Road, Susupe, from 9am to 12pm.<\/p>\n<p>The second checkpoint will be on Chalan Monsignor Guerrero, San Jose to Isa Drive, San Vicente, from 3pm to 6pm.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the checkpoints are to promote public safety while increasing the awareness of the dangers of not utilizing a vehicles occupant protection system as well as child restraints systems while driving on the islands roadways.
