The purpose of the scheduled power interruptions is to de-energize utility lines and allow power line workers from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp.\u2019s contracting company, Primary Source Electric, the ability to safely conduct maintenance associated with the ongoing restoration effort in the aforementioned locations. <\/p>\n

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area. <\/p>\n
