Rabauliman, who is the institute’s acting chief executive officer right now.

“We consider NMTI an integral part of the CNMI’s workforce development strategy,” said Joe E. Ayuyu, Jr., area supervisor of McDonald’s Saipan. “Since McDonald’s is a community stakeholder, we would like to assist any way we can with pressing issues related to curbing our current workforce shortage.”

Rabauliman said that NMTI is “very blessed” to have educational sponsors that continue to work with them.

“Trades education continues to be challenging as it requires instructors that are skillful in teaching their respective professions. I firmly believe that our community is beginning to see the need for NMTI, thus the strong support from philanthropists like the Ayuyu family,” he said.

The proceeds from this year’s NMTI Gala will once again be used to buy equipment and student tools in the construction trades areas, which will give students greater hands-on experience before they move on to their various careers.

Gala tickets are priced at $100 per person and can be bought by calling Ross Manglona at (670) 322-6684 ross.nmticnmi@gmail.com.
