{"id":300536,"date":"2019-05-30T06:00:07","date_gmt":"2019-05-29T20:00:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=300536"},"modified":"2019-05-30T06:00:07","modified_gmt":"2019-05-29T20:00:07","slug":"june-is-nmi-ph-friendship-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/june-is-nmi-ph-friendship-month\/","title":{"rendered":"June is NMI-PH Friendship Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In recognition of a shared heritage and similar customs, traditions, and values, the Commonwealth government declared yesterday the month of June as NMI-Philippines Friendship Month, with Lt. Gov. Arnold I. Palacios inking the proclamation at the Governor\u2019s Office conference room.<\/p>\n<p>The proclamation signing was witnessed by honorary Philippine consul to the NMI Glicerio \u201cEli\u201d Arago and prominent members of the Filipino community in the CNMI.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is important to us because the CNMI is like home to Filipinos,\u201d Arago said later in an interview.
