For now, he is looking at taking up either liberal arts or nursing at the Northern Marianas College.<\/p>\n<p>Bobadilla, who graduated from Mount Carmel School as valedictorian last June 1, 2019, dreams of pursuing a chemical engineering degree at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m really happy I [graduated] valedictorian,\u201d he said. \u201c\u2026We are the class that don\u2019t really care about grades but when stuff like this happens we get really excited and support each other.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_300828\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-300828\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Jan-Emmanual-Bobadilla-.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Jan-Emmanual-Bobadilla--150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-300828\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-300828\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">JAN EMMANUAL BOBADILLA, Valedictorian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bobadilla he will be starting his college track at NMC. \u201cI think it\u2019s a good decision to start here [and] save a lot of money especially since I can\u2019t really afford a big college,\u201d he said. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLike [MCS president Galvin Deleon Guerrero] said, I really do believe that this is the best graduating Class of 2019 and I think they should continue to pursue their dreams. I wish them all the best,\u201d he said of his classmates.<\/p>\n<p>Hyo Lim Cho, the MCS Class of 2019 salutatorian, would be heading to the University of Utah to take up pre-nursing this August.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_300829\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-300829\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Hyo-Lim-Cho.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Hyo-Lim-Cho-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-300829\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-300829\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">HYO LIM CHO, Salutatorian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cMy plan is to become a physician assistant and I am thinking of coming back to Saipan and working at the Commonwealth Health Care Corp.,\u201d she said. <\/p>\n<p>Cho acknowledged that she was shy and quiet when she started at MCS. \u201c\u2026Senior year, we really bonded together and we all cried for each other [during] graduation and we are all happy for each other,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>She said she owes her academic success to her \u2018tiger mom\u2019 who forces her to study. \u201cI really thank her now because\u2026I became the salutatorian of the class. I am really happy that I graduated with my fellow AlumKnights [MCS alumni] and I am really thankful for everything,\u201d Hyo said.<\/p>\n<p>A total of 51 graduated from the 2019 Class of MHS last Saturday at the Mt.
