Of the 208, Camacho had 201 significant strikes and 100 of them hit Hein, who let go only 79 significant strikes and connected just 37.

The Team Oyama standout also effective took away Hein’s ability to bring the match down to the canvas, as the latter attempted the maneuver only three times and succeeded once.

Camacho’s was also solid on his head and body shots, 68-20, and 30-8. The only statistics that Hein won was the leg hits, 9-2, but that did not prevent Camacho from earning one of his best victories in his MMA career.

“It would have to be up there in my Top 5 best fights. I had lots of fun and learned so much more about myself in this fight,” said Camacho, who thank Team Oyama for helping him prepare for his first bout of the season and rediscovering the skills that effectively stopped his opponent.

“I’ve always been able to kick knee and punch, also wrestle and do jiu jitsu. It’s why I train multiple disciplines every week. I really owe the success of this fight to Colin Oyama. Coach somehow, someway was able to bring these skill sets out for this fight,” said Camacho after the TKO victory over Hein at the 4:56 mark of Round 2 of their three-round duel.

After recording his first win of the year and second at the Ultimate Fighting Championship stage, Camacho said he will not rest on his laurels and will get back to work to prepare for one or two more fights this season.

“I will get back to training next week,” the Saipan-raised athlete.

The fight statistics for the bout between Frank “The Crank” Camacho and Germany’s Nick “Sergeant”…

[5

post-300881","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-sports
["GET
