The Saipan Chamber of Commerce\u2019s June membership meeting is today, June 5, at the Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan\u2019s Hibiscus Hall.\u00a0This meeting\u2019s spotlight is the Chamber\u2019s \u201c2019 Scholarship Award Ceremony\u201d where it will be celebrating all the ways Chamber members continue to invest in the CNMI\u2019s youth. <\/p>\n
The speakers for the event will include remarks from former SCC scholars: press secretary Kevin Bautista (Class of 2011); Senate legislative assistant Alexis Hofschneider (Class of 2011); Commonwealth Casino Commission financial auditor Michael Sheu, who is also part-owner of Hong Ye Hardware (Class of 2011).<\/p>\n
The six Chamber scholars in 2019 will also be introduced.<\/p>\n
Additionally, there will be updates on the following:\u00a0prevailing wage survey, the 2019 Corporate Challenge winners, and the time management seminar\u00a0scheduled June 26<\/p>\n
The luncheon begins at 11:30am and with the meeting portion starting promptly at noon. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members\/$35 for non-members.
