Guam DRT computer system back<\/strong>
\nThe Department of Revenue and Taxation\u2019s systems server is up and running.<\/p>\n

Yesterday morning, the department said its computer systems were down due to various issues over the past 24 hours. The department was open for limited counter services such as application distribution and general inquiries. <\/p>\n

The Treasurer of Guam was also limited to manual payments yesterday morning and was working to get its systems up by noon yesterday. <\/p>\n

Guam CHamoru commission meetings set<\/strong>
\nThe Kumisi\u00f3n\u00a0i Fino\u2019 CHamoru yan\u00a0i Fina\u2019n\u00e5\u2019guen\u00a0i Historia yan i Lina\u2019la\u2019 Taotao T\u00e5no\u2019 (Commission on CHamoru Language and the Teaching of History and Culture of the Indigenous People of Guam)\u00a0will hold its monthly meetings on June 13, and 20, 2019, from 12:30pm to 3pm\u00a0at the Kumision office, The Garden House, Plasa de Espana, Hagatna. <\/p>\n

A work session\u00a0will be held on June 27, 2019, from 12:30pm to 3pm, at the same venue.<\/p>\n

Military training in open ocean, at Dandan, Farallon de Medinilla<\/strong>
\nASAN, Guam\u2014The U.S. Navy will conduct open-ocean training until June 5, from 8am to 8am, within a 10-nautical mile radius of the following coordinates: 13\u02da 28\u2019N\/144\u02da 25\u2019E. It is recommended the public, fishermen, and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.<\/p>\n

Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 will conduct training until June 6, from 11am to 11:55pm, at the Dandan-Malojloj training site in Inarajan.<\/p>\n

These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the trainings. The public should be advised that routine helicopter training often accompanied with the use of blanks can occur during training.<\/p>\n

The U.S. Marine Corps and U.S. Air Force will conduct training at the island of Farallon de Medinilla during the following dates and times:<\/p>\n

\u2022 June 6, from 8am to 9pm
\n\u2022 June 4, 5, and 7, from 10:30am to 9pm<\/p>\n

The general location of the training on the island of Farallon de Medinilla will be within a 12-nautical mile radius of the island. (PR)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Time management training set<\/strong>
\nThe Saipan Chamber of Commerce and Jim Arenovski of Island Training Solutions will be hosting a training on time management at the Saipan Chamber of Commerce conference room (Marianas Business Plaza, third floor, Suite 315) on June 26, from 9am to 12pm. Registration fee is $50 per person for Chamber members and $55 per person for non-members. Light refreshments are included. Reservations and advance payment are required as seating is limited. Weightlifting competition on June 15<\/strong>
\nThe 2019 CNMI Weightlifting Championship will be held on June 15, 2019, a Saturday, at the Roundhouse, Garapan Central Park, starting at 10am.<\/p>\n

Registration deadline is noon of June 8, 2019. Entry fee is $10, while the admission fee is $5.<\/p>\n

There will also be a competitors\u2019 meeting at noon, Saturday, June 8, 2019, at the NMPASI conference room in Gualo Rai, Saipan.<\/p>\n

Joint inauguration in FSM in July 29<\/strong>
\nPALIKIR, Pohnpei<\/strong>\u2014 Federated States of Micronesia president David W. Panuelo, in consultation with FSM Congress Speaker Wesley Simina, has decided to hold the joint inauguration ceremony on July 29, at the FSM Capitol in Palikir, Pohnpei. The FSM government will welcome traditional leaders, leaders from neighbor and partner nations, dignitaries, government officials, and citizens of the FSM who will witness this event.<\/p>\n
