{"id":301217,"date":"2019-06-10T06:00:04","date_gmt":"2019-06-09T20:00:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=301217"},"modified":"2019-06-10T06:00:04","modified_gmt":"2019-06-09T20:00:04","slug":"korean-orchestra-performs-at-taste","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/korean-orchestra-performs-at-taste\/","title":{"rendered":"Korean orchestra performs at \u2018Taste\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Daejeon Senior Orchestra performed at the 21st Annual Taste of the Marianas International Food Festival &amp; Beer Garden last May 25 as part of efforts to sustain the relationship between the Korean city and Saipan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope our participation of this festival to enhance the friendship between our two cities,\u201d said orchestra president Kim Seon Kim in a letter to Saipan Mayor David M. Apatang. <\/p>\n<p>The orchestra comes from the city of Daejeon, South Korea and the average age of the performers is 70 years old.
