The D&amp;Q Warriors also walked away with two individual prizes in the game portion. <\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Corporate Challenge was held on June 2, at Minatchom Atdao in Susupe, with nine company teams going head to head to compete for the title of Corporate Challenge \u201cSurvivor\u201d champions. <\/p>\n<p>The overall 1st Runner Up trophy was awarded to Team DFS. The team is no stranger to the winners\u2019 circle, having won overall champions in 2014 and 2015. <\/p>\n<p>Besides D&amp;Q and Team DFS, the other teams that competed were Marianas Pacific Distributors Inc, IT&amp;E Saipan, Joeten Motors \u201cFrontiers,\u201d First Hawaiian Bank \u201c2X Faster,\u201d Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort, last year first runner-up Delta Management \u201cDelta Force,\u201d and defending champion Triple J Saipan. <\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme\u2014\u201cSurvivor\u201d\u2014focused on celebrating the resiliency and resourcefulness of CNMI businesses post-Super Typhoon Yutu and with the economic challenges that followed. <\/p>\n<p>The annual Corporate Challenge pushes company teams to work collaboratively and creatively to get through different challenges and obstacles. The goal is to provide an outlet for creativity, team-building, and company wellness in order to reinvest in the staff.  <\/p>\n<p>In the \u201cSurvivor Chant\u201d contest, \u201cDelta Force\u201d stole the show with their rap set to the tune of Hard Knock Life, earning them the \u201cBest Company Performance.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Tug-O-War, a staple game in the Corporate Challenge, all teams went head to head and Team Triple J, D&amp;Q Warriors, Joeten \u201cFrontiers,\u201d MarPac, and Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort advanced to the second round. The second round ended with MarPac, D&amp;Q Warriors, and Laolao advancing to the third round. The final round was between D&amp;Q Warriors and MarPac. It took just 15 seconds for D&amp;Q Warriors to claim the title of \u201c2019 Tug-O-Warriors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In the Relay Race \u201cFall in Line,\u201d IT&amp;E clocked in the quickest time, earning them the title of \u201c2019 Relay Slayers.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>D&amp;Q Warriors completed the Obstacle Course (\u201cSuper-Typhoon Readiness\u201d) in the fastest time, earning them the title of \u201c2019 Obstacle Conquerors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Other awards that were given were \u201cBest Company Identity\u201d and \u201cBest Company Tent.\u201d This year, Team Captains were heavily involved in the scoring process. <\/p>\n<p>Voted by their peers for having the \u201cBest Company Identity\u201d was Delta Force. <\/p>\n<p>Also awarded to Delta Force by their peers was \u201cBest Company Tent.\u201d Delta Force created a miniature version of their shell stations. <\/p>\n<p>Delta Force was also the overall winners for the 2019 Spirit Award. This award is given to the team that exemplifies and inspires company values.<\/p>\n<p>Overall winners enjoyed prize packages inclusive of donations from Chamber members. <\/p>\n<p>The champions also received a six-month membership under the President\u2019s Circle of the Chamber.
