TOMOKANE-<br \/>Valedictorian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Tanapag Middle School promoted a total of 53 students to high school during their promotion ceremony last June 12 in their campus, led by Joan Adelia M. Tomokane as valedictorian and Jinnosuke Suzuki as salutatorian.<\/p>\n<p>Tomokane is looking to attend Kagman High School, while Suzuki is looking to go to Marianas High School.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am looking forward to [high school],\u201d Tomokane said recalling a field trip her class had to the campus the day before the promotion. \u201cWhen I went there it was a lot of fun. I think I am going to meet a lot of new people and make new friends.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Tomokane noted that she did not join any sports during middle school, but the possibility is definitely there in high school. \u201cI\u2019m not sure. I\u2019ll just live in the moment.\u201d <\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_301522\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-301522\" style=\"width: 150px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Jinnosuke-Suzuki.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/Jinnosuke-Suzuki-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" class=\"size-thumbnail wp-image-301522\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-301522\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">JINNOSUKE SUZUKI-<br \/>Salutatorian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Tomokane noted that being class valedictorian is going to make her parents proud. \u201cI tried so hard in school for my family and parents,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>Suzuki plans to continue swimming in high school. He also plans to get good grades there. <\/p>\n<p>Also recognized at the promotion ceremony were the top students per subject area, namely the English language art award for Ashley S. Tenorio, the mathematics award for Jessica Pineda, career exploration award for Bea Joy Blanco, physical education award for Suzuki, leadership corps, career and technical education\u2014CTE, and Chamorro-Carolinian Language Heritage Studies award for Kiana C.
