{"id":302639,"date":"2019-07-02T06:06:34","date_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:06:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=302639"},"modified":"2019-07-02T06:06:34","modified_gmt":"2019-07-01T20:06:34","slug":"scheduled-power-outage-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/scheduled-power-outage-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Scheduled power outage tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>There will be scheduled power interruption tomorrow, July 3, 2019, from 8:30am to 11:30am <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Outage type: Sectionalized feeder outage on the Kiya 1 distribution circuit <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Village location: Dandan <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Area(s) affected: Dandan and Obyan <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Water well(s) affected: Obyan Wells, OB: 1-24 <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Water service maybe affected based on tank level for the following areas: Koblerville, San Antonio, Chalan Kanoa, San Jose, Susupe and Chalan Laulau (Beach Road) <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Wastewater lift station(s) affected: None <\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Omni-Rupter Switch (ABS) Installation <\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize utility lines and allow power line workers from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely prepare for and install two Omni-Rupter Switches at Isley Field in Dandan and As Matuis Village. <\/p>\n<p>The power interruption is part of CUC and FEMA&#8217;s Water System Mitigation program aimed at hardening and strengthening the power distribution system that supplies power to the water wells located at Isley Field in Dandan village. <\/p>\n<p>Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area. <\/p>\n<p>For more information, contact the CUC Customer Call Center (664-4282) or monitor our Facebook page for the latest updates (https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/CommonwealthUtilitiesCorporation\/).
