{"id":30264,"date":"2014-03-19T15:54:48","date_gmt":"2014-03-19T07:54:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tribune.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=30264"},"modified":"2014-03-19T15:54:48","modified_gmt":"2014-03-19T07:54:48","slug":"ex-probation-officer-gets-time-served-ice-conspiracy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/ex-probation-officer-gets-time-served-ice-conspiracy\/","title":{"rendered":"Ex-probation officer gets time served for \u2018ice\u2019 conspiracy"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The federal court has sentenced former CNMI adult probation officer Robin Norita Sablan to time served for his involvement in a conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine or \u201cice.\u201d<br \/>\nAt a hearing on Friday, U.S. District Court for the NMI Chief Judge Ramona V. Manglona placed Sablan on supervised release for three years, to be served concurrently with a 27-month supervised release for a previous criminal conviction.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan will be required to participate in a substance abuse treatment program, which may include up to eight drug tests a month for use of drugs or alcohol.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan is prohibited from drinking alcoholic beverages and entering any poker arcades during his supervised release.<\/p>\n<p>The judge dismissed the remaining count of distribution of methamphetamine over the alleged sale of less than a gram of \u201cice\u201d on March 24, 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Sablan has been detained at the Department of Corrections since federal agents arrested him on Aug. 22, 2012, on charges of conspiring with others to distribute \u201cice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In October 2012, Sablan and his court-appointed counsel, Steven Pixley, signed a plea deal with the U.S. government.
