The GOP has been trying to coalesce with independents and those from other parties, that\u2019s why it has not been completing its slates for most precincts.<br \/>\nThese include four candidates for Precinct 1, which has six seats.<\/p>\n<p>As of Monday, the GOP\u2019s candidates for Precinct 1 are incumbent Rep. Richard B. Seman (R-Saipan), press secretary Angel Demapan, Customs seaport branch manager Greg M. Sablan, and Board of Parole\u2019s Joseph \u201cLee Pan\u201d Tenorio Guerrero.<\/p>\n<p>For Precinct 4, the Republican Party\u2019s candidate is incumbent Rep. George N. Camacho (R-Saipan).<\/p>\n<p>GOP also said that its Precinct 5 candidate is incumbent Rep. Antonio \u201cTon Pai\u201d Agulto (Ind-Saipan).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOther precincts\u2019 endorsements will be provided soonest,\u201d Ivan Blanco, chairman of the GOP Central Committee\u2019s public relations team, said yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, the GOP endorsed only three candidates for Precinct 3, which also has six seats. But it endorsed the two incumbents for Precinct 2.<\/p>\n<p>The GOP\u2019s gubernatorial team is Gov. Eloy S. Inos with Senate President Ralph Torres (R-Saipan) as his running mate. They face at least three other tickets, and the CNMI could be headed for another gubernatorial runoff if no one gets at least 50 percent plus one of the votes cast in the general elections.<\/p>\n<p>The GOP is inviting the public to join them at the Republican Party\u2019s kickoff rally on Sunday, March 23, from 10am to 3pm at the Susupe basketball courts.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Republican Party\u2019s central committee officially endorsed six more candidates.
