Aqua Resort Club may be considered one of the smallest resorts on Saipan, but it makes up for this with outsized hospitality and quality of service that has made the resort not only a byword among its tourist guests but also within the CNMI community.<\/p>\n

That support of not just tourists but also by local patrons has propelled the resort to its 30th anniversary, which Aqua Resort Club will celebrate on July 7 this year and, according to general manager Kevin Tsurui, it is with the same spirit they had when they first opened the hotel\u2014to be of service to the CNMI community.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy emotions are filled with enormous appreciation to the local community throughout the years. Without their support, ARC would not have survived and flourished throughout the years the way it has,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

To show its appreciation, Aqua Resort Club will be celebrating this milestone with many discounts and promotions throughout this month.<\/p>\n

The CNMI has been through super typhoons and experienced many ups and downs \u201cbut the local community has always supported us and I thank everyone for our 30 years of continued success,\u201d Tsurui said.<\/p>\n

Guests from different parts of the world also inspire Aqua Resort Club to keep up with hotel trends both here and abroad. <\/p>\n

\u201cThe peace and serenity of the resort is what we want to share with the local community and tourists. We are working hard in maintaining this ambiance,\u201d Tsurui said.<\/p>\n

And, even if Aqua Resort Club is not a brand-name hotel, this does not faze them. \u201cWe go big on the quality of our service. \u2026Our dedication to quality of service contributes to boost the tourism economy of Saipan. \u2026We may not have the quantity so our quality of service and great guest satisfaction is always our focus.\u201d<\/p>\n

Same with guest satisfaction. Tsurui concedes that Aqua Resort Club does not boast an extensive inventory of room, but they make up for this by ensuring the satisfaction of guests.<\/p>\n

\u201cNot having many rooms is definitely a challenge, especially when the demand is high [and] there are times when we cannot always accommodate the large quantities [of guests]. However, we focus on the quality of guest satisfaction and we hope to create the most romantic and relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

At the heart and soul of their effort to satisfy customers are their very loyal employees, whom the company treats like a family. \u201cWe nurture a family atmosphere at work where all employees support each other and work in unison.\u201d<\/p>\n

Aqua Resort Club\u2019s passion for community work is also one of their core values and one of the hotel\u2019s contribution to the people of Saipan that is unique to them is providing drinking water. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe have been a supplier of free and clean drinking water to everyone in the community for over 10 years and we will always continue to offer this service,\u201d Tsurui said.<\/p>\n

The resort is also an active member of the Hotel Association of the Northern Mariana Islands and contributes to many organizations and events.<\/p>\n

With Japanese low-cost airline Skymark Airlines staring their regular flights to the CNMI soon, Tsurui hopes that Aqua Resort Club will welcome back its Japanese repeater guests and maintain the diversity of the local tourism market.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to accommodate and please every market, offering peace, serenity, and a romantic atmosphere to all our guests, both local and tourists coming to Saipan,\u201d Tsurui added.<\/p>\n

Tsurui has been managing Aqua Resort Club for five years now and has stamped the resort with many touches that has made it stand out. <\/p>\n

\u201cI enjoy being able to modify small details like the d\u00e9cor, amenities, menus, etc. to accommodate the changing market trends. Since we are a small resort, we can be very flexible and see the outcome very quickly,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

With this 30th anniversary milestone this year, Aqua Resort Club looks forward to many more anniversaries in the future, dedicated to pursuing what is deems best for the CNMI community.<\/p>\n
