\nReplace conductors at Isley Field<\/p>\n
The purpose of the power interruption is to de-energize utility lines and allow power line workers from the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. to safely replace 98 wooden poles with concrete poles at Isley Field in Dandan village.<\/p>\n
The power interruption is part of CUC and the Federal Emergency Management Agency\u2019s Water System Mitigation program aimed at hardening and strengthening the power distribution system that supplies power to the water wells located at Isley Field in Dandan village.<\/p>\n
Because of the scale of work that will be performed, CUC asks travelers to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through the working area.<\/p>\n
