The camp will be from 9am to 1pm.<\/p>\n<p>CAO project manager Paul Ythemar said they are targeting high school students because lavalava-making is one of the crafts that is slowly losing popularity over time.<\/p>\n<p>A lavalava is a single rectangular cloth worn as a skirt and is traditionally worn by in Oceania. Lavalava-making takes weeks to complete. For beginners, the instruction will take at least one day, and another week to string the banana fiber.
