{"id":304354,"date":"2019-07-23T06:00:03","date_gmt":"2019-07-22T20:00:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=304354"},"modified":"2019-07-23T06:00:03","modified_gmt":"2019-07-22T20:00:03","slug":"public-warned-of-fake-yeti-products","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/public-warned-of-fake-yeti-products\/","title":{"rendered":"Public warned of fake YETI products"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Office of the Attorney Generals is warning CNMI consumers against fake YETI products and is urging the public to be vigilant against buying these products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have reason to believe that several shipments of counterfeit YETI products have been introduced into our local stream of commerce,\u201d the OAG said in a public advisory issued yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>YETI is a premium\u00a0brand of coolers, drinkware,\u00a0and accessories.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease pay close attention to the products you are purchasing and make sure that you are only purchasing name-brand items from a trusted source. Check for proper labeling and licensing information, as well as other identifying information that makes a product unique to a particular company.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInferior items may be found in improper packaging, such as white boxes, and have inferior markings that can be seen in the stamped lettering on the product.
