(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As part of its commitment to support community organizations and projects,\u00a0Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort recently signed on as a platinum sponsor for the\u00a0upcoming 24th Annual Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe annual Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars that benefit numerous community projects,\u201d said Bi Weon Park, president of Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort. \u201cWe are proud to be part of the event and look forward to the tournament and wish all players good luck.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLaolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort\u2019s\u00a0support goes a long way to ensure the success of this year\u2019s and previous Governor\u2019s Tournaments of Champions,\u201d said Ben Babauta, TOC tournament director. \u201cWe are grateful for the company\u2019s unwavering support over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 24th Governor\u2019s Tournament of Champions will be played at the Laolao Bay Golf and Resort\u2019s east and west courses on\u00a0Aug. 10 and 11. The two-day event is bigger with exciting hole-in-one prizes and the chance to win thousands of dollars in possible prizes. The\u00a0TOC\u00a0tournament fee is $200.<\/p>\n<p>Winners in the Men\u2019s Championship, A, B, C, Senior and Super Senior flights will each receive $500 cash, $400 cash, $300 cash, a Casio watch, and $100 DFS gift certificate for the first to fifth place, respectively. The Ladies Low Gross winners will receive $500, $400, and $300 cash for first to third place, respectively. The first, second, and third place winners of the Ladies Low Net will each receive a trophy.<\/p>\n<p>Hundreds of thousands of dollars\u2019 worth of prizes are at stake in the two-day tournament, including\u00a0hole-in-one\u00a0prizes that also include a brand new 2019 Mazda CX-5 Sport and a 2019 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross donated by Triple J Motors, a Nissan Frontier donated by Joeten Motors, one year of free golf donated by Laolao Bay Golf &amp; Resort, and other prizes that will be announced in the coming days.
