Those who want to further their education and advance their careers are invited to attend the Northern Marianas College\u2019s Info Session tonight, Aug. 8, from 5:30pm to 6:30opm, at the Olympio T. Borja Library at the college\u2019s As Terlaje campus.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Attendees will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for NMC\u2019s upcoming fall 2019 semester\u2014a savings of about $75.<\/p>\n
The free session will include discussions on NMC\u2019s admissions process, financial aid options available to students, and the various degree programs at the college. Prospective students and community members are reminded that there is still time to access financial aid for the fall 2019 semester.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Those interested in receiving help in applying for financial aid can also attend NMC\u2019s free FAFSA workshop on Friday, Aug. 9, 2019. The workshop consists of three separate sessions held at 9am, 10am, and 11am at the NMC computer lab in Building V in room V108.<\/p>\n
Financial aid representatives will be assisting parents and students in filling out the online FAFSA for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year.<\/p>\n
Interested participants for Friday\u2019s FAFSA workshop can reserve a spot in one of the three sessions by emailing Financial Aid director Daisy Propst at daisy.propst@marianas.edu\u00a0or by calling the Financial Aid Office at (670) 237-6791, 6793, or 6794.<\/p>\n
