Using the Meitu Magic Mirror, customers and guests just need to click buttons indicating their preferred shade for their eyes, lips, and cheeks. As an added feature, they also get to choose their sunglasses. Undecided with many options? You get to see which product is good for you without even trying to put it on,” said 2019 Miss Marianas Shannon Sasamoto, one of the guests at the launching. “This is very helpful to me, to the people who consider makeup as part of their everyday life.”

DFS T Galleria Saipan assistant general manager for Sales Svetlana Hunter said the app would be available for the whole month of August. Using the app, photos of the customers with their virtual makeover will be taken and they could get a copy with the summary of the products they tried, the brand, and cost.

“Every month, we will have different activations of the special zone, allowing us to bring in the trending brands available at our beauty store,” Hunter said.

Marie Alvarez, who came to the launching with her family members, was in awe with how the app made shopping easier.

“It’s awesome that we get to enjoy this kind of technology. No need to go around the store and keep trying the products on, removing one after another. With this app, you come here, face the Magic Mirror, and if you like what you saw, then buy the products,” Alvarez said.

Sárka Glajchevá checks on the Armani Cinema Saipan makeover booth. DFS flew in four professional makeup artists from South Korea to give customers the trendiest makeovers. The booth has the “Armani Cinema” theme, so customers, whether they went through makeovers or not, had their “movie poster” taken and they received printed copies as souvenirs for free.

“This year, we want our customers, through the support of Armani, to experience what it’s like to work with the professionals in this movie theme setting. We are pleased to see our customers enjoying the booth. As for our Meitu Magic Mirror, we also have similar one last year, but this time we made added features because people are getting tech savvy,” DFS Saipan general manager Billy Cheung said.

When asked if the Magic Mirror will be featured in the store for an extended period, Cheung said it will depend on the customers’ response with the promotion. He added that together with the unveiling of T Galleria’s newly renovated beauty hall, they also introduced 14 new brands, bringing the store’s total to more than 70 brands.

“We listen to our customers. As much as possible, we want to offer them with international beauty brands that they would want to buy and ones that they would find in other DFS flagship stores,” Cheung said.

[11

post-305885","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business
["GET
