(Contributed Photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Saipan Adventure and IT&amp;E Light earned contrasting victories in the make-up games in the 2019 One Pacific Promotional Basketball League last Wednesday at the Civic Center Court in Susupe.<\/p>\n<p>IT&amp;E Light pounded Light &amp; Salt in the first rescheduled game, 84-56, while Saipan Adventure eked out a 55-51 triumph over Docomo Pacific in the second match.<\/p>\n<p>Ahead by 14 after the third period, 54-40, IT&amp;E Light showed no mercy and continued to hammer Light &amp; Salt in the fourth quarter to complete the rout. Aaron Pamintuan started IT&amp;E Light\u2019s demolition of Light &amp; Salt in the final canto after knocking in three straight triples. IT&amp;E Light\u2019s 30 points in the fourth frame was the team\u2019s biggest output in a quarter.<\/p>\n<p>Pamintuan was one of the four IT&amp;E players to score in twin digits in their 28-point victory after logging 17 points. Kevin Nuguid led IT&amp;E with his 22 markers, while Jaymark De Guzman and Juliene Gotengco chipped in 16 and 11, respectively, to hand their team its second straight win and third overall in four matches.<\/p>\n<p>Siblings Rommel and Mico Usi had 13 points each for Light &amp; Salt, which has yet to win in three games.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Saipan Adventure also notched victory No. 3 after beating Docomo (1-2).<\/p>\n<p>Alex Ocampo and Alvin Almario hit clutch baskets to help Saipan Adventure escape with a 4-point win. The two players scored 8 of Saipan Adventure\u2019s last 9 points.
