{"id":306983,"date":"2019-08-30T06:00:22","date_gmt":"2019-08-29T20:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=306983"},"modified":"2019-08-30T06:00:22","modified_gmt":"2019-08-29T20:00:22","slug":"back-to-school-donations-sought","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/back-to-school-donations-sought\/","title":{"rendered":"Back-to-school donations sought"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Pride Marianas Youth is holding a back-to-school drive to collect school items and even used clothes that would be given to middle and high school students.<\/p>\n<p>The drive, which started in late August, will run the entire month of September, and calls on the community to donate items like backpacks, re-useable water bottles, hygiene supplies, notebooks, and gently used clothing, shoes, and socks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe community can help by making donations from the school supplies list we put together\u2026and help us spread the message about the drive,\u201d said PMY\u2019s Jennifer Maratita.<\/p>\n<p>Donations can be dropped off at the Northern Marianas Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence office on the second floor of the MH-1 Building in Puerto Rico and at The Shack in Oleai.  <\/p>\n<p>PMY will also have a booth at the Youth Mental Health Fairs, to raise awareness and to reach out to the LGBTQ+ youth.
