Mu\u00f1a said Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>School year 2019-2020 will begin tomorrow, Sept. 3.<\/p>\n<p>Under a temporary double-session setup, Kagman Elementary School will be accommodated by its next-door neighbor, Chacha Oceanview Middle School, as a private contractor have been working to restore the school\u2019s power connection back to the Commonwealth Utilities Corp. power grid, Mu\u00f1a said.  <\/p>\n<p>Kagman Elementary School lost power connection last week and the Public School System, with the assistance of CUC, has been working with the contractor immediately restore power, Mu\u00f1a explained.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith our Kagman students, parents and stakeholders\u2019 safety and welfare our utmost priority, we regretfully have to temporarily hold classroom instruction under a double-session setup at Chacha Oceanview Middle School,\u201d Mu\u00f1a said. \u201cWe have been working closely with the private contractor, along with CUC, and we\u2019re advised that this will just be temporary as they work round-the-clock to meet the target power restoration between the next four to six weeks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mu\u00f1a extended his appreciation to all Kagman public education stakeholders for their continued understanding and patience as the school district continues to ensure a smooth and seamless reopening of classes.
