Ralph DLG Torres ordered that the flag of the Commonwealth be flown at half-staff until sunset yesterday, in line with U.S. President Donald J. Trump\u2019s order that the U.S. flag be flown at half-staff until sunset throughout the United States and its territories.<\/p>\n<p>Every Sept. 11, now called Patriot Day, the nation remembers the 3,000 people who perished on Sept. 11, 2001<\/p>\n<p>Many in the CNMI also joined the \u201cField of Heroes\u201d Freedom Walk, which, because of the rain, became a caravan of cars, from the Garapan Fishing Base to the American Memorial Park, and the \u201cWe Will Never Forget\u201d ceremony that followed after at the AMP Visitor Center Theater. <\/p>\n<p>Field of Heroes ceremonies will also be held on Tinian on Sept. 16 at the Veterans Memorial Park at 10am, and on Rota on Sept. 17, at the Corporal Joe G. Charfauros Jr. Rota Veterans Memorial Park at 4pm. <\/p>\n<p>U.S. flags will also be on display at the American Memorial Park on Saipan until Sept. 16, at the Veterans Memorial Park on Tinian until Sept. 18; and at the Corporal Joe G.
