(Saipan Tribune)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Fred Pelisamen powered MJD Construction to an 86-70 win over Star Water in the 2018 JP World Corp. Customer Appreciation Basketball League last Saturday at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium. <\/p>\n<p>MJD Construction was behind in the first half, but managed to fight back and steal the win behind Pelisamen, who scored 26 of his 46 points in the second half. The former CNMI national team member had 13 in the third period, as MJD grabbed the lead, 58-57, after facing an 8-point deficit at the break, 34-42. <\/p>\n<p>Pelisamen was still on target in the final quarter with another baker\u2019s dozen to complete MJD\u2019s comeback. He outscored the entire Star Water team, which was held to 11 points in the fourth frame.<\/p>\n<p>Cecilio Bisana and Bernard Montano also helped MJD\u2019s cause after scoring 18 and 12 points, respectively, while Rommel Dizon had a game-high 22 points for Star Water.<\/p>\n<p><strong>TanHoldings 1 82, McDonald\u2019s 71<\/strong><br \/>\nEarlier in the second game last weekend, TanHoldings 1 also rallied past McDonald\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>Behind at 53-66 after three periods, TanHoldings 1 recovered in the fourth after more than doubling McDonald\u2019s output, 29-13. <\/p>\n<p>It was a team effort for TanHoldings 1, as Jun Fidelino scored 9 points, Dindo Pablo and Fradel Sedillo contributed 6 each, and Arjay Nonato added 5. Nonato paced TanHoldings 1 with his 16 points, while Pablo and Fidelino finished with 15 and 13m, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Jaymark De Guzman led all scorers with his 26 markers and failed to get enough help from his teammates in the fourth frame.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s led by as much as 14 points in the first half, 42-28, before letting the win slip from its hands in the final canto.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Second Game<\/strong><br \/>\nTanHoldings 1 82\u2014Nonato 16, Pablo 15, Fidelino 13, Esdrelon 9, Sedillo 9, Labadan 8, Dimafelix 4, Macoto 2, Villamena 1.<br \/>\nMcDonald\u2019s 71\u2014De Guzman 26, Macaranas 13, Mc.
