Joel Camacho’s (R-Saipan) sees that as the start of more improvements of not just at Paupau Beach but also the Capital Hill area.

With Camacho’s House Local Bill 21-25 enacted Thursday last week, he said he eventually wishes to make more improvements in the Paupau Beach area, including a possible beach volleyball court.

“I reprogrammed some of the remaining balances to a pot for the final payment to make sure it is funded,” he noted, referring to H.L.B. 21-25. The legislation collects the remaining balances from previous appropriations and directed it toward a new playground at Paupau Beach. He was able to collect over $39,000 for the project.

“I will hopefully work with [Department of Public Works] to include a beach volleyball court.
