Bautista)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Saipan Adventures and Tsingtao Boyz came out on top of their respective matches in the 2019 One Pacific Promotional Basketball League last Thursday at the Civic Center Court.<\/p>\n<p>Saipan Adventure bested Light and Salt in the first match, 67-60, while Tsingtao Boys downed IT&amp;E Light, 68-61<\/p>\n<p>Behind at the break, 30-37, Saipan Adventure stole the lead from Light and Salt after scoring 18 points in the third period and holding the latter to 7 markers. Jun Alipio led the comeback after making 7 points in the penultimate quarter to give Saipan Adventure a 48-41 advantage.  Roy Verdeflor added 5 markers in the turnaround.<\/p>\n<p>Alipio and Verdeflor were still at it in the fourth period, combining for 13 points to keep Saipan Adventure in front and give their team a 6-3 record.<\/p>\n<p>Verdeflor finished with 20 points, while Alipio added 17.<\/p>\n<p>In the other game, Tsingtao regained its form after losing back-to-back games following a win over IT&amp;E Light.<\/p>\n<p>Tsingtao now has an 8-2 record to reclaim the No. 1 spot in the team standings of the 12-squad field.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Demonteverde led Tsingtao with his 15 points, while Peter Ariar added 13 and Jet Jandoc contributed 12. <\/p>\n<p>Jaymark De Guzman paced IT&amp;E Light (4-5) with his 22 points.<\/p>\n<p><strong>First Game<\/strong><br \/>\nSaipan Adventure 67\u2014Verdeflor 20, Alipio 17, Morales 10, Cruz 8, Maesa 4, Salazar 3, Mungcal 2.<br \/>\nLight and Salt 60\u2014Natividad 28, M.
