Office administrator Rose Camacho reported to the scholarship board that they have received a total of 1,031 total applicants in 2019; the office reported around 700 or 800 applicants in prior years. In 2018, the office saw this number jump to over 1,000 applicants\u2014its highest number to date. <\/p>\n<p>In her report, Camacho said that 191 applications have been approved as of last Monday, 65 applications are pending, seven applications have been denied, and 19 applications are awaiting follow-up. <\/p>\n<p>The 19 applications are still being checked as the scholarship office is still verifying some information about the applicants. <\/p>\n<p>The office offers financial aid for high school, undergraduate, trades school, graduate, and post-graduate programs.
