{"id":309150,"date":"2019-10-01T06:06:04","date_gmt":"2019-09-30T20:06:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=309150"},"modified":"2019-10-01T06:06:04","modified_gmt":"2019-09-30T20:06:04","slug":"hopes-for-a-true-revival-of-japan-tourism-market-pinned-on-regular-skymark-flights","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/hopes-for-a-true-revival-of-japan-tourism-market-pinned-on-regular-skymark-flights\/","title":{"rendered":"Hopes for a \u2018true revival\u2019 of Japan tourism market pinned on regular Skymark flights"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Commonwealth Ports Authority board chair Kimberlyn King-Hinds is pinning her hopes on the regular international flight service that Skymark Airlines Inc. plans to kick off this December to signal a true revival of the Japan market for CNMI\u2019s tourism industry.<\/p>\n<p>King-Hinds said yesterday other board members are also hoping the regular flights from Narita to Saipan will expand opportunities for the people of the Marianas to explore Japan through this gateway.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited and looking forward to welcoming Skymark\u2019s regularly scheduled flights to the Marianas,\u201d she told Saipan Tribune.<\/p>\n<p>She said they hope CPA\u2019s Airline Incentive Program will complement Skymark\u2019s business plan and provide them with the necessary support to sustain the daily flights to and from Japan.<\/p>\n<p>King-Hinds congratulated Gov.
