(Bea Cabrera)

Car owners who pay special attention to their cars abide by the saying “A clean car is a happy car” and one way to achieve this is to wash them regularly. This task could be daunting to busy people but this is why Best Car Wash in Gualo Rai (beside Salvation Army) was established a year ago.

Best Car Wash owner Joy Mallick said that their service lives up to their name.

“We would like to be known as the best car wash on Saipan giving quality service from start to finish. For those people who don’t have time to clean their car because of work or they would rather spend time with family, we can make their cars clean and shiny all the time.”

“We are very detailed in cleaning a vehicle whether is a small or a big car. For exterior cleaning, we start from the roof, work down on the sides of the car and down to the wheels. Cleaning the interior come after the wash where we use armor all to wipe all the surface in the car and vacuum all corners of the floor,” he added.

Mallick used to be the owner of a mini grocery called JM Market in San Roque. “We closed it after Super Typhoon Soudelor. I opened up the same shop in Gualo Rai but I also experienced losses after Typhoon Yutu. I decided to put up a car wash business and keep my operations low,” he said.

“On a good day, we get 10 to 15 cars especially during summer time,” he added.

One thing unique about Best Car Wash is that they use rain water for washing the vehicles.

“Rain water is great for washing a car because it is in its purest and cleanest state. It does not contain minerals and salts that can cause or worsen rust,” Mallick said.

“We have a big tank in the car wash and it is always filled with rain water. It makes us save operation costs, good for environment and very good for the cars. Aside from keeping the car clean, rain water keeps vehicle from deterioration,” he added.

Best Car Wash does wash and vacuum services for only $15 for sedans and $20 for SUVs.

“If customer comes and wants to avail one service like vacuum only, we can do that. We have ports to accommodate two cars at a time. And we guarantee good service all the time,” Mallick said.

Best Car Wash is open Monday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm.

[11
162
post-309268","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-business","tag-car
["GET
