Customer Appreciation Basketball League last Tuesday at the Gillette Multipurpose Gymnasium. <\/p>\n<p>CUC wasted no time in dominating Coca-Cola, as it posted a 31-19 lead in the first half.  Despite the double-digit lead, CUC was not done yet, as it hammered Coca Cola in the third quarter after sizzling for 37 points for a huge 69-25 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Eugene Manglona led CUC\u2019s demolition of Coca-Cola in the third period after recording 14 points, while Ray Pestillos added 8.<\/p>\n<p>Manglona finished with a game-high 31 points, making up for his 2-point output in the first quarter that ended with CUC ahead by just 9 points, 18-9. Manglona then began hitting his target in the second period, as he scored CUC\u2019s first 10 points and matched Coca-Cola\u2019s total production for the their 12-point advantage at the break.<\/p>\n<p>Frederick Dionisio, Pestillos, and John Santos also helped give CUC the upper hand in the first half, as they combined for 14 points.<\/p>\n<p>The trio still contributed some points in the third period, while Coca-Cola was held to 6 markers off two field goals to hand the victory to CUC with still one full quarter to go.
