Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Three players are in a close battle for the regular season MVP award halfway through the 2019 Atkins Kroll Marianas International Basketball League.<\/p>\n<p>Mystique BBQ\u2019s Jetzen Jandoc leads the statistical points in the 10-team league with his 38.4 SP and breathing down his neck are The Game\u2019s Mak Mintac and Saipan Vegas\u2019 Coby Santos, who have similar 37.8 SP. The statistical points (combined points, rebounds, assists and steals) are part of the league\u2019s selection criteria for the regular season MVP. The record of the players\u2019 respective teams, coaches votes, and Player of The Game awards will also be considered in picking the top player in the league after the elimination round.<\/p>\n<p>In four games, Jandoc has scored 84 points and posted 15 assists,  13 steals, and 40 rebounds. Santos, on the other hand, has reached past the century mark in points, collecting 107 in five games, and registered 25 assists, 23 steals, and 31 rebounds. Mintac played in five matches, two and leads the league in points with his 135. The Game forward also has logged 17 steals, 24 rebounds, and seven assists.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, joining Jandoc, Mintac, and Santos in the Top 5 in the statistical points leaderboard are the latter\u2019s teammate Douglas Schmidt and Caravan\u2019s Josh Andrew. Schmidt, after six games, recorded 34 SP, as he accumulated 71 points, 42 assists, 45 rebounds, and 43 steals.
