{"id":31000,"date":"2014-03-28T14:50:02","date_gmt":"2014-03-28T06:50:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/tribune.ctsi-logistics.com\/?p=31000"},"modified":"2014-03-28T14:50:02","modified_gmt":"2014-03-28T06:50:02","slug":"hcpl-board-affirms-mandate-regulate-health-care-professions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/hcpl-board-affirms-mandate-regulate-health-care-professions\/","title":{"rendered":"HCPL board affirms mandate to regulate health care professions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">The Health Care Professions Licensing Board is advising the public that no person shall practice any health profession under its purview in the CNMI without a valid license issued by the board.<\/span><br \/>\nThese professions include acupuncturists, chiropractors, baccalaureate social workers, masters social workers, clinical social workers, medical laboratory technicians, radiologic technicians, dentists, dental hygienists, dental therapists, dental assistants, embalmers, EMTS\/paramedics, midwives, optometrists, pharmacists, pharmacy interns, physical therapists, pharmacy technicians, physical therapy assistants, physicians, physician assistants, podiatrists, professional counselors, mental health counselors, mental health counselor associates, and psychologists (clinical).<\/p>\n<p>The board also regulates and issues licenses to operate clinical\/medical laboratories and pharmacies.
