{"id":310480,"date":"2019-10-22T09:09:53","date_gmt":"2019-10-21T23:09:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=310480"},"modified":"2019-10-22T09:09:53","modified_gmt":"2019-10-21T23:09:53","slug":"breaking-news-typhoon-warning-canceled-for-saipan-tinian","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/breaking-news-typhoon-warning-canceled-for-saipan-tinian\/","title":{"rendered":"BREAKING NEWS: Typhoon warning canceled for Saipan, Tinian"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The National Weather Service in Tiyan, Guam lifted the typhoon warning for Saipan and Tinian at around 8:20am today even as Typhoon Bualoi continued its northwest trek away from the Marianas.<\/p>\n<p>Bualoi made a pass just north of Anatahan between 5am and 5:30am Tuesday morning. This position allowed the strongest and typhoon-force winds to keep north and offshore of Saipan as it passed.<\/p>\n<p>At 7am, Bualoi was centered 110 miles north of Saipan and 65 miles south-southwest of Alamagan. It was moving northwest at 14 mph with maximum sustained winds of 130 mph.
