{"id":311417,"date":"2019-11-05T06:06:32","date_gmt":"2019-11-04T20:06:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=311417"},"modified":"2019-11-05T06:06:32","modified_gmt":"2019-11-04T20:06:32","slug":"cnmi-bpl-hcplb-to-have-building-fixed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/cnmi-bpl-hcplb-to-have-building-fixed\/","title":{"rendered":"CNMI BPL\/HCPLB to have building fixed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The CNMI Board of Professional Licensing and the Health Care Professions Licensing Board intend to repairs its office on Capital Hill. <\/p>\n<p>CNMI BPL\/HCPLB executive director Esther Fleming confirmed that they have been in contact with the Department of Public Works to assess the building\u2019s ceiling since many areas of the building are leaking and these are expected to become worse if not fixed. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe building is not getting clear water leakage, but brown water leakage, which is an issue that needs to be addressed,\u201d Fleming told Saipan Tribune. With this leak, the water would seep into the ceiling\u2019s rebar, creating brown streaks. <\/p>\n<p>She clarified that the roof was renovated years prior to her appointment as executive director in 2016 and that the contractor who conducted the renovation was called back six months after the project. She said she has been in contact with Department of Public Works Secretary James Ada about this matter and that they are looking to begin the process anytime this week or next week. <\/p>\n<p>They won\u2019t be moving, though, Fleming said.
