The orientation is free and comes with refreshments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMembers are the foundation of the club,\u201d said Region 2 chair Annamae Adaza. \u201cThe more members [there are], the more services we can deliver, and [the more we would] be able to address the needs of our community&#8230;\u201d <\/p>\n<p>The orientation is open to everyone, even for members who need a refresher.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere are a lot of new things to learn about the Lions Clubs. With the technology right now, we have to embrace changes and be able to level up at the same time,\u201d said Adaza. She also hopes that the orientation would help with membership retention. \u201cOnce the members understand what is in it for them, then we are sure that they will stay as long as they can.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>For one, Lions Clubs is international, so when its members travel around the world, they can always get connected with fellow Lions Club members.<\/p>\n<p>To register, contact Adaza at 285-4388; Zone chairs Al Cabael at 483-4663, Argie Buensalido at 789-0218, Region 2 assistant secretary Bhiya Canadalla at 285-6899; and Region 2 assistant treasurer Yho Villavincencio at 285-9017. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Interested in serving the community?
