{"id":311692,"date":"2019-11-08T06:00:14","date_gmt":"2019-11-07T20:00:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=311692"},"modified":"2019-11-08T06:00:14","modified_gmt":"2019-11-07T20:00:14","slug":"all-mhs-duel-in-opener-of-girls-high-school-caging","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/all-mhs-duel-in-opener-of-girls-high-school-caging\/","title":{"rendered":"All-MHS duel in opener of girls high school caging"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>One of the opening games in the 2019-2020 Public School System Interscholastic Girls High School Basketball League on Nov. 14 will pit Marianas High School Varsity against MHS Junior Varsity.<\/p>\n<p>The all-Lady Dolphins duel will be played at 4:30pm on the north side of the MHS Gymnasium, while the other curtain-raiser on the south court will have Grace Christian Academy facing Mt. Carmel School.<\/p>\n<p>Other matches scheduled for next week are Kagman High School vs Saipan Southern High School and MHS JV vs Agape Christian School at 5:15pm, and MHS Varsity vs GCA and Saipan Southern vs Mt. Carmel at 6pm.<\/p>\n<p>Each game will be played in a 5&#215;5 format with 12-minute halves. Matches will be held every Tuesday and Thursday. <\/p>\n<p>Each squad will have 10 games in the elimination round, while the playoffs will be a double-elimination affair and will take place on Jan. 10 and 11, 2020.
