(NMC)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>In addition to receiving help in finding money for college, participants of Northern Marianas College&#8217;s upcoming &#8220;Cash for College&#8221; workshops can also have their financial aid documents notarized and photocopied without charge.<\/p>\n<p>The workshops on Rota and Saipan will be held on the following dates:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Friday, Nov. 22, 2019 (9am-12pm): NMC Rota: Building A-1<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 (9am-12pm): NMC As Terlaje campus: Between Buildings N and O<\/p>\n<p>At the workshop participants will be provided with personal, step-by-step assistance in completing college financial aid forms, focusing especially on forms like the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and application forms for the CNMI Scholarship, Saipan Higher Education Financial Assistance, and other municipal scholarship programs.<\/p>\n<p>Staff members from the college\u2019s Office of Admissions and Records will also be present to provide information and assistance with the NMC admission application process.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, those who participate in the workshop will qualify to have their NMC application fee and placement test fees waived for the upcoming spring 2020 semester. This waiver represents a savings of up to $75.<\/p>\n<p>Parents or guardians interested in attending the Cash for College workshop can also bring their children to the Children\u2019s Center in NMC\u2019s Building J in room J16. This free service provided by NMC\u2019s School of Education will be ongoing throughout the event.
