Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>TanHoldings Football Club\u2019s Kaithlyn Chavez and Shirley\u2019s Football Club\u2019s Katrina Costales scored the most goals in the 2019 NMIFA Fall Youth League to bag the Golden Boot awards in their respective age groups.<\/p>\n<p>Chavez collected 28 goals in nine games in the co-ed U12 division to take the individual top honors this season. She made it on the board in all of TanHoldings\u2019 matches, saving the best for last, as she delivered four in their 10-4 triumph over Kanoa Football Club last Nov. 16.<\/p>\n<p>The TanHoldings striker led by six goals against the division\u2019s No. 2 scorer and her teammate, Mark Costales, who tallied 16. With Chavez and Costales on target in the three-round robin contest, TanHoldings finished the season unbeaten in nine games.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Kanoa\u2019s Paul Lizama and Rigel Devey and MP United\u2019s Miles Linden were the other player in the division to make at least 10 goals this season after recording 15, 10, and 12, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>Completing the Top 10 in the Golden Boot race were TanHoldings\u2019 Monico Claridades (8), MP United\u2019s William Lee (7), Shirley\u2019s FC\u2019s Jayvin Bisek (6) and Arif Khan (5), and MP United\u2019s Xavier Lee (5).<\/p>\n<p>In the girls U16 division, Costales surpassed long-time leader and the favored Paulyn Joyce of Kanoa FC, as the former earned 28 against the latter\u2019s 22.<\/p>\n<p>Costales was clinging to a 1-point lead over Joyce, 21-20, before the final game in the double-round robin competition last Nov. 16. Costales then ended up firing seven goals in their 9-2 win over Matansa in a match ahead of Kanoa\u2019s last game to gain more cushion.  The Shirley\u2019s top player kept the lead for good, as Joyce later scored only two goals in their 3-2 title win over TanHoldings FC.<\/p>\n<p>Matansa\u2019s Janah  Casarino (13), Southern United\u2019s Erin Frink (12), and MP United\u2019s  Audrey Castro (11) and Maury Zon Tybaco (11) rounded out the Top 5 in the Golden Boot contest.
