Monroyo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>As expected, pennant and defending champions Chalan Kanoa Bears hauled the most individual awards in the 2019 Saipan Baseball League that concluded last Saturday at the Francisco \u201cTan Ko\u201d Palacios Ballfield.<\/p>\n<p>Outfielder and designated hitter Ricardo Dela Cruz led the Bears\u2019 top performers of the season, as he won the Finals MVP award after standing out in their finals sweep against the Mariners. Dela Cruz went 4-for-8 at bat, scored three runs, and had four RBIs in helping the Bears win Game 2, 14-3, and Game 3, 6-1, of the best-of-five title series. <\/p>\n<p>The Finals MVP was also among the doubles champions in the league, joining teammate Kiku Lizama, Go See Mark\u2019s Byron Kaipat, and the Mariners\u2019 Ton Tenorio in the honor roll.<\/p>\n<p>Tenorio was named the regular season MVP and got two more individual awards after topping the league in most triples scored and RBIs (10). The Bears\u2019 A.J. Lizama, Henry Lizama, and Kiku Lizama, and the Mariners\u2019 Nate Camacho also earned the most triples honor, while Angel Palacios, also from the back-to-back champion team, took the batting champion title.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Jays\u2019 Noel Cabrera  was the home run and strikeout king, while the Bears\u2019 Virgil Secharmidal and A.J.
