Department of Public Safety officers are now looking into the case.<\/p>\n<p>Police received a 911 call reporting the burglary incident on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at about 6:02pm.<\/p>\n<p>Police dispatched to the scene met with the caller, who stated that their group had parked their rental car, a red Ford Mustang, in the parking lot of the American Memorial Park for a few hours before returning back. The victims mentioned that they parked their vehicle at about 10:30am and returned at 4:30pm. That\u2019s when the victims noticed that their bags were no longer in the vehicle. They notified their rental car company before calling for police assistance.<\/p>\n<p>The items reported missing include a black backpack, a silver-colored Digno cellphone, a silver-colored Apple MacBook Air laptop, a pink Apple Watch, a brown Berluti wallet, a pair of white Apple AirPods, a red\/purple key case, a white tote bag, and one red\/purple Cartier wallet, including the victim\u2019s passport and driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n<p>DPS would like to remind the public to be diligent when purchasing electronics and\/or designer wallets from unknown individuals as these items may have been stolen.<\/p>\n<p>This case remains on going.
