Individuals interested in applying for Northern Marianas College\u2019s spring 2020 semester can still receive financial aid to help with tuition and other academic expenses. Prospective students are encouraged to attend NMC\u2019s upcoming information session to learn more about the Federal Financial Aid program, which uses the FAFSA.<\/p>\n
The information session, which is open to all interested community members, will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at NMC\u2019s Olympio T. Borja Library.<\/p>\n
The Federal Financial Aid program is administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Through the program\u2019s various types of grants, loans, and scholarships, the Federal Financial Aid program is the largest financial aid provider in the U.S.<\/p>\n
NMC faculty, staff, and students from the different degree programs at NMC, as well as representatives from financial aid, counseling, and admissions offices will be on hand at the info session to answer questions. Additional topics that will be discussed include the different degree programs offered at the college and other college initiatives.<\/p>\n
Attendees of the information session will qualify to have their application fee and their placement test fees waived for Northern Marianas College\u2019s upcoming spring 2020 semester, a savings of about $75.<\/p>\n
