IT&E, IP&E, and Bank of Guam present the Autism Society of the CNMI with a donation of $5,386.67 raised through the companies\u2019 2nd Annual Marianas Golf Classic. (CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

November was a time of giving for IT&E with contributions to several community organizations that make a difference in the CNMI community all the year round.<\/p>\n

IT&E, IP&E, and Bank of Guam presented donations totaling more than $16,000 to the Autism Society of the CNMI, Micronesia Islands nature Alliance, and Make-A-Wish Foundation CNMI and Guam. The funds were raised during the 2nd annual Marianas Golf Classic. More than 100 golfers participated in the event.<\/p>\n

\u201cI thank all the members of the community that supported the Marianas Golf Classic, which in turn is now giving the Autism Society of the CNMI, Micronesia Islands Nature Alliance and Make-A-Wish Foundation CNMI and Guam\u00a0the resources they need to carry out their missions,\u201d said Rose Soledad, general manager of IT&E. \u201cThe strength in our community lies within our commitment to each other.\u201d<\/p>\n

Empowering the women of the Marianas, IT&E also presented the Commonwealth Women\u2019s Association with a donation of $1,500 for its first Fun-Raise-Her dinner event last Nov. 22, 2019. The event celebrated women\u2019s empowerment and helped raised funds to support the association\u2019s objectives, including providing education opportunities, training and development to women to encourage them to become leaders in the community and in business.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, and every day, we are standing with the community to uplift and empower women. We are proud to be able to give the CWA the support it needs to provide opportunities to women,\u201d said Soledad. (PR)<\/p>\n
