{"id":313910,"date":"2019-12-12T06:06:27","date_gmt":"2019-12-11T20:06:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/?p=313910"},"modified":"2019-12-12T06:06:27","modified_gmt":"2019-12-11T20:06:27","slug":"holiday-program-at-amp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.saipantribune.com\/index.php\/holiday-program-at-amp\/","title":{"rendered":"Holiday program at AMP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This holiday season, join the American Memorial Park and its partner, Pacific Historic Parks as we remember those who served our country overseas during World War II, far from home.<\/p>\n<p>Youth in grades K-5 are invited to join us for \u201cOperation Christmas.\u201d The program will highlight the importance of \u201cpeace on earth,\u201d include a reading of a World War II holiday theme book, and ornament and card making stations. Youth will also have the opportunity to mail their holiday cards to a war veteran.<\/p>\n<p>The program will be held on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019, at the American Memorial Park Visitor Center. Youth can join the morning session from 9am to 11:30am or the afternoon session from 1pm to 3:30pm. Parents or guardians must sign up children at the Visitor Center on the day of the program.
