Mu\u00f1a, a licensed independent insurance broker and general manager for AM Insurance,\u00a0will deliver the commencement address. Mu\u00f1a graduated with top honors from the University of Guam in 1983, earning her bachelor\u2019s as a double major in management and business administration while working as an insurance clerk. Following graduation, she transitioned into management and in 1994 opened her own insurance company, AM Insurance, in response to a growing need on island for excess and surplus coverage of large local companies.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnnmarie\u2019s success story is one that many UOG students can relate and aspire to,\u201d said UOG president Thomas W. Krise. \u201cShe had dreams of big things, and her education here at UOG prepared her to achieve her goals.
